SEASON 15 AUDITION INFORMATION
​
At Sarasota Dance Academy, we value the strength and versatility dancers gain through a strong foundation in ballet as well as contemporary, jazz, tap and acrobatics techniques. Each class focuses on developing the dancer’s technique, discipline, artistry, and performance skills.
​
At this level, dancers attend a minimum of 4-6 competitions, including x1 convention (additional events are available for students wishing to gain more performing experience). Students have the opportunity to compete solos, duets and trios in addition to 2-6 group pieces per season.
​

Each summer, students must attend at least 1 week of The Dance Intensive and mandatory choreography week.

SCHEDULE
Dancers have a combination of rehearsals and technique classes during the week.
Mini Elite dancers are scheduled on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Teen/Senior dancers are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday

Additional rehearsals are held throughout the year, we try to give as much notice as possible.

TUITION
For your convenience, tuition can be paid by the season or broken into eleven equal payments. These eleven installment payments are made on the first day of each month in the season Fall/Spring (August-June).

What you get! Tuition for each session includes:

• INCLUDES SHOWCASE COSTUMES!
One or two for each of their dances in the winter and spring performances.

PRIVATE COACHING/LESSONS
$70/hr

ADDITIONAL FEES
Along with the usual registration, tuition etc., parents are required to pay for their competition fees up front, 60 days prior to the event. These fee estimates are outlined in our team contract/policies.
