At Sarasota Dance Academy, we value the strength and versatility dancers gain through a strong foundation in ballet as well as contemporary, jazz, tap and acrobatics techniques. Each class focuses on developing the dancer’s technique, discipline, artistry, and performance skills.

When students dance in the SDA Company, it offers them a chance to refine their dancing technique and have the wonderful experiences of dancing beyond the classroom in competitions and workshops throughout the year. The Elite Company is a technique-based program for focused dancers designed to build a strong foundation in a multitude of dance styles while nurturing individual artistry.
